This pizza crust is simply not like other gluten-free crusts. It is light, fluffy and contains those visible air pockets within the crust that true gourmet pizza crusts have. When cooked correctly, the bottom obtains a perfect crispness and it can be finished in wood-fired ovens or even on the grill.
Snacktivist Pizza-Flat Bread mix contains our unique blend of ancient grains adding fiber and wholegrain nutrition to a favorite American staple. Our crust has a well-balanced flavor profile, alluding to wholegrain but without an overbearing flavor.
Our 12 oz. multigrain pizza dough mix makes two 12-inch thin-crust pizzas or 4 individual pizzas. You can also make one large, thick crust pizza.
No kneading is required—just add warm water, olive oil, stir and pour onto parchment paper. This is yeasted pizza dough so it will need a little time to rise and bake. The mix requires 5 minutes of assembly time, 20-25 minutes of rise time and 20 minutes of baking time.
What's great about this mix is its versatility. You can easily make it round, square, thin or thick. The dough can be made ahead of time and set in the refrigerator to slowly rise all day while you are at work. It can be cooked in a hot cast iron skilled for a thick, delicious pan-style pizza too.
